Drunk Elephant is still the hype! It's all over social media and there is definitely a reason why.
If you are considering buying a Drunk Elephant product but unsure on whether it's actually worth that luxury price tag then you should continue reading.
You'll find out which product is suitable for your skin type and skin problem, how it can easily be added to your daily skincare routine, what AHA/BHA really does for your skin and what does it mean, and an in-depth product review of why these products made it to the top 3.
I have tried some of the Drunk Elephant products and managed to narrow it down to these 3 skincare must-haves that are totally worth the price!
O.m.g! What is this hydrating miracle? I'm obsessed.
Drunk Elephant Sukari Babyfacial does basically what's in the name. It gives your skin a soothing facial which leaves you with oh so soft baby-like skin.
So why is Sukari Babyfacial one of Drunk Elephant's best products?
Babyfacial is perfect for:
fighting visible blemishes
improving skin radiance
exfoliating skin with an extended function to help clear pore congestion
exfoliating the skin for a brighter and more even appearance
improving the appearance of skin texture
reducing the look of fine lines - with continued use
Includes BHA/AHA
It's much stronger than Drunk Elephants Glycolic Night Serum - which you'll read about later on- but is great for all skin types and contains 25% AHA and 2% BHA.
My skin is sensitive and acne-prone but I've had no issues with this product, it's honestly cleared and improved my skins appearance so much!
What does AHA and BHA mean?
AHA = alpha hydroxy acids, e.g. glycolic and lactic acids.
BHA = beta hydroxy/salicylic acid.
Basically AHA is good for dry skin, it's made up of molecules that love water, and it helps improve the skin's moisture. BHA is best for acne-prone skin and those with deeper skin concerns, as BHA penetrates further into the skin. They both act to 'unglue' the dull, dead skin on the surface, leaving you with clear, soft, smooth skin.
When to add Drunk Elephant Sukari Babyfacial into my Routine?
As Sukari Babyfacial is way stronger and contains more AHA and BHA it is recommended to use it only once a week.
Use it by applying an even layer onto dry skin for 20 minutes then rinse thoroughly with warm water and pat dry. After this, put on a soothing oil or moisturizer. Avoid putting another heavy product or glycloric acid onto your face as it'll be too much product for your skin.
#beautyadvice if you have super sensitive skin, new to using glycloric acid or you start to feel a slight burning sensation after applying, then its advised to start with only 2 minutes and gradually build your way up to 20 minutes as your skin gets used to it - it will still work great with less time!
Drunk Elephant Sukari Babyfacial is definitely worth buying and a beauty must-have! It's has the best results and leaves you with super soft 'brand new' skin! and the bottle is so great, the pump makes sure you can get every bit of product out when you're near the end.
It's time to say goodbye thirsty skin, and hello hydration with Drunk Elephant Sukari Babyfacial!
This little wonder is great for those with dry, acne-prone, oily and combination skin. It's top-rated and highly recommended by dermatologists who also use it.
This beauty must-have contains luxurious Marula oil. Drop it onto your skin and it'll soak in deeply, giving your skin maximum hydration.

How to Use and Apply Drunk Elephant Virgin Luxury Facial Oil?
Less is more with this product. Even though the bottle is small, a little bit of it goes a long way. It is easy to use, apply just 3-4 drops on your face, neck and chest during your morning and night time routine. You can also add it to other areas of your body too if you have dry skin.
#beautytip Wake up looking refreshed by adding 1-2 drops of Drunk Elephants facial oil under your eyes for extra hydration and combat anti-aging, fine lines, puffy eyes and dark circles.
What skin type is Drunk Elephant Virgin Luxury Facial Oil best for?
All skin types. From acne-prone skin, to dry, oily, sensitive, combination, mature aging and normal skin.
If you have dry skin then you can add it other parts of the body, but if your skin is normal or combination for example, then you can apply this oil to just your night time routine.
This Luxury Facial Oil is great for mature skin and dry tired eyes, as mentioned above wake up with your eyes looking fresh and hydrated and plump the next morning. I do this as part of my nightly skincare routine and noticed a huge difference to my fine lines and skin's overall radiant glow.
What's so good about this oil is that it's not just for your skin, you can use it on your hair and nails too! Perfect for those dull hair ends that need some hella' shine! Get thicker and healthier hair and stronger nails. It's definitely a gem!
#skincaretip If you wear makeup throughout the day and your skin isn't super dry, only apply Drunk Elephant Virgin Luxury Facial Oil as part of your nighttime routine, so that your foundation will stick better to your skin without the oils.
Does Drunk Elephant Virgin Luxury Facial Oil feel oily?
Not at all. It's very comfortable to wear - I was very impressed! Once applied, the facial oil won't dry straight away. Your skin will feel a little oily for a short while, but after approximately 15 minutes it'll all absorb into your skin for a more sheen look. Plus there's no added oil to your t-zone, leaving your skin with an overall radiant glow!
Its a small product that does a big job to your skin. I can understand why it's loved and recommended by dermatologists!
Have you also read or seen this product everywhere on social media?
The Drunk Elephant Glycolic Night Serum is famous for containing lactic acid that's crazed about today as one of the most popular AHA's in skincare.
So why is Drunk Elephants lactic acid popular and more expensive than other drugstore dupes?
It's super powerful for reducing acne breakouts and the appearance of wrinkles plus other signs of aging. It's product includes a 'dream team' of AHA's to reveal a smoother and more radiant complexion.
What Does Drunk Elephant Glycolic Night Serum do?
Helps re-service the skin
Helps with skin cell turnover if you're prone to small pimples and breakouts
Clears clogged pores
Instant hydration
Increases collagen production
12% AHA BHA Blend
Gives smoother, more radiant complexion
The Night Serum is a chemical exfoliate with a 12% blend of AHA and BHAs - which means it's best for attacking and treating acne-prone skin, dry skin, anti-aging and fine lines. After applying I saw results the next day of much more glowy-looking complexion.
When should I use Drunk Elephant Glycolic Night Serum in my routine?
Use the serum as part of your night time routine. Apply it and leave it on over night so you'll have fresher skin more quickly.
What's great is that because it's a chemical, so you'll have faster results in comparison to a drugstore exfoliator that has exfoliating beads.
The texture of the serum is thin and light. You don't feel it on your skin and it doesn't feel heavy or sticky afterwards.
The light smoothing serum works even better when you apply a light moisturizer afterwards, which will help lock everything into place. If you experience tiny bumps on your skin, it'll help a lot with this - especially if you wear makeup often because your skin is more prone to clogged pores.
Honestly, this is my fave and definitely had to make it to my 3 must-have Drunk elephant products, it helps clear everything bad out of your skin!
If your skin is dry and in need of hydration, or your pores need a deep cleanse and skin is prone to pimples then I highly recommend this product to you!
It is expensive but you definitely get what you pay for with its results. I used it once and I'm hooked, I won't change my Drunk Elephant serum for a different brand.
